The "Road to WrestleMania" presses on as the WWE Superstars head to Houston to take part in the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Sunday.
Elimination Chamber 2019 isn't just a stop gap until WrestleMania 35, however, as the first women's tag team champions will be crowned on Sunday and numerous other titles will be on the line, including the WWE Championship in the show's namesake match.
There are seven matches confirmed for this Sunday and all but one has a title on the line. Here's every match going down at this year's Elimination Chamber.
DANIEL BRYAN (c) VS JEFF HARDY VS KOFI KINGSTON VS RANDY ORTON VS SAMOA JOE VS AJ STYLES - ELIMINATION CHAMBER WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The "New" Daniel Bryan defends his sweet-looking, all-natural WWE Championship into the Elimination Chamber against SmackDown Live's top superstars.
With Bryan's "intellectual peer" Rowan - theoretically - barred from the Chamber match, how will the champ leave the champion? Randy Orton won the gauntlet match this Tuesday to be the last one to enter the match, so he has the best chance of winning, but with the likes of Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and the emerging Kofi Kingston, will the blue brand see a new superstar on top?
BUDDY MURPHY (c) VS AKIRA TOZAWA - CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Murphy has held the Cruiserweight Championship since he took down Cedric Alexander at the Super Show-Down pay-per-view in Australia and he doesn't seem like he's going to let up any time soon.
After dispatching opponent after opponent - including three at the Royal Rumble - former Cruiserweight Champion Akira Tozawa looks to use his strong style and take down the "best kept secret of 205 Live."
BRAUN STROWMAN VS BARON CORBIN
Baron Corbin has been a thorn in Braun Strowman's side for months. He cost Strowman the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel, and took months off his career after he shattered Strowman's elbow. The "Monster Among Men" wants to get his revenge once and for all.
BAYLEY/SASHA BANKS VS SONYA DEVILLE/MANDY ROSE VS NAOMI/CARMELLA VS NIA JAX/TAMINA VS LIV MORGAN/SARA LOGAN VS THE IICONICS - ELIMINATION CHAMBER WOMEN'S TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The first new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions will be crowned on Sunday as six teams vie for this distinct honor.
The big story in this match centers on Sasha Banks, who has appeared injured on Monday Night RAW the last few weeks, which left Bayley to do the bulk of the work in their matches. The Boss 'n' Hug Connection will need to be at full strength since they will be one of the two teams to start the Elimination Chamber match - with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.
SHANE MCMAHON/THE MIZ(c) VS THE USOS - SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The unlucky pairing of Shane McMahon and The Miz walk into their first SmackDown Tag Team Championship defense to face The Usos at Elimination Chamber. The legitimacy of "McMiz" has been questioned by The Usos and they look to show this team what being a "real" tag team is all about.
BOBBY LASHLEY (c) AND LIO RUSH VS FINN BALOR - INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP HANDICAP MATCH
Finn Balor has had an uphill climb to an Intercontinental title shot at Elimination Chamber. Current champ, Bobby Lashley, doesn't see Balor as worthy of a shot causing the two (and Lio Rush) to have heated battles in previous weeks.
But Balor won't have to just take out Lashley to capture the IC belt, he'll need to get past Rush in a handicap match. Luckily for Finn, he can still pin Rush and capture the belt.
RONDA ROUSEY (c) VS RUBY RIOTT - RAW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
While the RAW Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 35 is still in flux thanks to Charlotte Flair replacing Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey is defending her title against Ruby Riott.
Riott along with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan have tried to derail Ronda's momentum in recent weeks, and Ruby wants to capture her first gold in the WWE. Charlotte plans to be watching on the sidelines, and don't think she's forgotten how Ronda cost her the title at TLC.
Elimination Chamber will stream live on the WWE Network this Sunday, February 17.
