The final "Big 4" pay-per-view of the WWE's year is upon us as Survivor Series descends on Los Angeles for a night of brand vs brand action.
Survivor Series 2018, like last year, will pit RAW and SmackDown against each other as both brands' superstars fight for supremacy. Champions will take on champions, and by the end of the night one brand will come out on top. There's also a title match in the Cruiserweight division, so there are stakes outside of the whole brand supremacy concept.
Considering the week WWE had with Becky Lynch's injury and Daniel Bryan's heel turn, this Sunday's event is set to be an interesting one. Here's every match going down this Sunday.
BROCK LESNAR VS DANIEL BRYAN
More shocking than Becky Lynch's injury and having to be pulled from her match at Survivor Series was Daniel Bryan's heel turn, capturing the WWE Championship from AJ Styles in the process.
The WWE Universe doesn't have enough time to process what happened as Bryan now goes into battle against Brock Lesnar to determine who is the top champ in the WWE. Will Lesnar be able to dispatch Daniel like he did AJ a year ago? Or will Bryan prove to be too much?
TAG TEAM SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH
The first, and maybe only, pre-show match pits five tag teams from both brands against each other.
SmackDown Live will bring The Usos, The New Day, Sanity, The Colons and The Club while RAW's representatives...aren't as distinguished. Lucha House Party, The B-Team, The Ascension, Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, and The Revival are RAW's representatives as they try to start the night off right for the "A-Show."
BUDDY MURPHY VS MUSTAFA ALI - CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The only championship match on the Survivor Series card, Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy defends against the high-flying Mustafa Ali. Murphy has been champ since Super Show-Down in Australia but has not been on television much as Ali fought his way to being the number one contender.
AUTHORS OF PAIN VS THE BAR
Newly-minted champions the Authors of Pain have the biggest match of their young careers as they take on The Bar, who also have Big Show in their corner.
The Bar have been on a roll since winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Adding the Big Show bolstered their numbers and star power but AoP looks to make a statement to the rest of the WWE with a victory.
WOMENS SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH
Here's where the loss of Becky Lynch will be felt the most. With Charlotte now going up against Ronda Rousey (more on that below) the SmackDown women's team has yet to replace their captain. Naomi, Carmella, Asuka and Sonya Deville will do battle against Alexa Bliss' chosen heel faction of Tamina, Nia Jax, Ruby Riott, Mickie James and Natalya (the only non-heel).
Will SmackDown's fifth member turn the odds in their favor?
SETH ROLLINS VS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
A dream match in the making, Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins looks to continue his dominance as he takes on U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura for the first time on WWE television.
Rollins is busy feuding with his former friend, Dean Ambrose, but he can't look past Nakamura who has a lot of momentum going into their match on Sunday.
MENS SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH
Shane McMahon "best wrestler in the world" leads a team of SmackDown superstars against Stephanie McMahon and Baron Corbin's stable of RAW stars.
Shane is joined by Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, The Miz and Samoa Joe as they go into battle against Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor.
Daniel Bryan was originally slated to be on the SmackDown team but, as many fans know, he has been put into a very different match.
RONDA ROUSEY VS CHARLOTTE FLAIR
After Becky Lynch suffered a concussion during Monday Night RAW, she chose her former best friend Charlotte to represent SmackDown against RAW Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey. While the highly-anticipated match between Lynch and Rousey will have to wait, Charlotte will look to deliver Ronda's first singles loss.
