Xbox Series X Restock Update for Walmart, GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, Target and More

A major Xbox Series X restock has been confirmed for January 13.

After a slow start to the year, things are starting to look up in 2022. Not only is the all-digital Xbox Series S readily available now, but we are also seeing the more elusive Series X pop up intermittently.

To help catch you up with all the latest information, Newsweek has put together the following breakdown of Xbox Series X restock news.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

After a bit of disruption relating to Cyber Monday and various New Year sales, it appears Walmart is finally returning to its original restock pattern.

In 2021, the outlet typically coordinated its console drops every other Thursday at 3 p.m. ET, and it is looking to do the same again in 2022.

With that in mind, it has been confirmed that both the Xbox Series X and PS5 will be available to purchase from the online marketplace this afternoon (January 13).

There is a catch, however, as you will need to join the premium Walmart Plus loyalty scheme to be eligible for this restock. If you are willing to fork out the extra cash, a membership costs an annual fee of $98.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

A PS5 drop has also been confirmed for the near future, this time at GameStop on Friday, January 14.

This will be an in-store only event, so you will need to keep an eye on GameStop's official channels to see which of its branches will actually be participating.

There has been no word yet on if the Xbox Series X will also be up for grabs during this restock, but the console was recently available to order from the GameStop website on January 12.

As always, these supplies were very limited and depleted quickly.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

Around the time we published our last restock update, the Xbox Series X was available for collection at individual Target stores.

On this occasion, you had no choice but to buy it through the merchant's "All Access" scheme, which meant that you were unable to pay it off in a single transaction. Instead, you had to commit to monthly installments of $34.99.

If you are lucky, you might still be able to find some leftover Xbox units on the Target website. The availability will be solely dependent on the inventory levels of any branches near you.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

There have not been any Xbox Series X restocks at Amazon since the beginning of 2022.

The retailer tends to coordinate its console drops on a monthly basis and, given that the last one was right at the cusp of the new year, it's anticipated that there won't be another until the end of January, at the earliest.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

Best Buy was last selling the Xbox Series X as a standalone item on Tuesday, January 11.

Before it sold out, the console was listed for its recommended retail price of $499.

To be alerted when the next Best Buy restock takes place, we recommend that you follow dedicated console trackers like @GYXdeals and @Wario64 on Twitter and switch on notifications.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

An Xbox Series X was included in Tuesday's Newegg Shuffle, but that offer has now expired.

On the bright side, the console has been swapped out with the PS5, which will next be available as part of the lottery draw on January 13.

If you are eager to get your hands on Sony's next-gen hardware, then you will need to enter this Newegg Shuffle when it opens at 11 a.m. ET.

Antonline Xbox Series X Restock

As we reported in our last update, you cannot get an Xbox Series X from Antonline right now, but the less-powerful Series S model is featured on the website.

If you are interested in the all-digital console, then you can buy it as a standalone item or as part of a bundle. Either option will set you back $299 (the recommended manufacturer's price of an Xbox Series S) thanks to an ongoing discount.

As such, you might as well go with the larger bundle, given that this purchase will ship with a Nyko wired headset, a v-bucks voucher for Fortnite and some credits to spend in Rocket League.

Sam's Club Xbox Series X Restock

The Xbox Series S is also up for grabs at Sam's Club, but the bundles here are more on the expensive side.

For example, you can get Microsoft's console with a PDP media remote and a wired headset for $379.98. Alternatively, there is another Rocket League and Fortnite bundle listed at Sam's Club (this time with a spare controller thrown in), with this one being priced at $399.98.

The Xbox Series X is not in stock.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

At the time of writing, you cannot order an Xbox Series X from the Microsoft Store.

However, there is a facility to build your own Xbox Series S bundle on the website. Like at Antonline or Sam's Club, you will get a Fortnite voucher by default and from there you can customize the deal by adding in a few extras.

The starting price is $299, but the more that you add to your bundle the more it will inevitably cost. Among other things, you can choose from a library of new games (like Madden NFL 22 and the ever-contentious Battlefield 2042), as well as a range of special edition controllers.

Costco Xbox Series X Restock

You're unlikely to ever spot an Xbox Series X selling at Costco, but there is a dedicated section for the console on the retailer's website and it has been known to restock from time to time.

Unfortunately, it's been a while since this last happened and trackers have been unable to forecast when the next drop is going to be.
