What's Wrong With YouTube? Error 503 Network Problems (UPDATE)

UPDATE: It's back up.

I guess YouTube couldn't handle the strain of Shane Dawson's penultimate Jake Paul video. It seems like YouTube is currently down for most users. The video hosting site is still accessible, but trying to view a video just shows up as an "Error 503" message The problem persists across all platforms. It doesn't matter if you are trying to watch cute cat videos on your phone or League of Legends on your PC, you won't be able to access YouTube. On mobile, you can click the thumbnail but that's far as you'll go.

YouTube Network Problems Fix

Seeing "an error occurred, please try again" can be very frustrating. Right now, there isn't anything you can do to fix the problem. Google is currently having a bad night, with one of its largest sites currently unresponsive. I recommend opening Netflix and watching The Dragon Prince or maybe Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee?

The problem seems to have started at 9:03 p.m. EST. and the reasons why are still unknown. It's very odd that a site of this size has been down for this long. Newsweek will share any updates, including when the YouTube outage is fixed.
