Authorities in Virginia issued an Amber Alert Tuesday for a 10-month-old baby who is believed to be in "extreme danger."
The baby's name is Cedar Samuel Griffith. He is a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 30 inches tall and weighs 25 pounds, according to the Amber Alert released by the Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse.
Authorities say the child is believed to have been abducted Monday at 8:10 p.m. by Ashley Jordan Griffith, 30, a white woman with blond hair and hazel eyes. The Amber Alert states they may be in a blue 2005 Lexus RX330 with an unknown Tennessee temporary tag.
The child was last seen on Daniel Boone Road in Gate City, Virginia, which is near the state lines of Tennessee and Kentucky.
