Diddy Paid Instagram Model Jade Ramey as Sex Worker—Court Filing

Sean "Diddy" Combs paid Instagram model Jade Ramey as a sex worker, it has been alleged in one of the sexual assault lawsuits filed against the music mogul.

On March 25, producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones amended the lawsuit he had filed against Combs, 54, back in February. In it, he claimed that rapper Yung Miami and model Daphne Joy were hired as sex workers for Combs.

The complaint alleges that Combs would boast about paying a "monthly stipend" for sexual services to model Ramey, City Girls rapper Yung Miami, and Joy, who shares a child with hip-hop star 50 Cent.

Newsweek has contacted representatives for Combs, Yung Miami, Joy, and Ramey via email, website request form, and social media for comment.

"Upon information and belief, Defendants Lucian Charles Grainge, in his capacity as CEO of UMG, authorized Motown Records and Universal Music Group to provide financial resources to Defendants Sean Combs and Love Records through wire transfers to Defendants Sean Combs and Love Records accountant Robin Greenhill," the lawsuit read. "Upon information and belief, Ms. Greenhill ensured the wiring, funds transfer, or cash payments to sex workers were completed."

"According to Plaintiff Jones, Defendant Sean Combs bragged about having several women on a monthly stipend," the filing continues. "According to Plaintiff Jones, the women who received these payments are Caresha Romeka Brownlee, aka 'Yung Miami,' Jade Ramey, aka 'Jade,' and Daphne Joy Cervantes Narvaez, aka, 'Daphne Joy' who were paid a monthly fee to work as Mr. Combs' sex workers."

While Ramey has yet to publicly comment on the allegations, she has continued to post on her Instagram account, where she has more than 1.2 million followers.

On Wednesday, she took to the image-sharing platform to post photos of herself posing in a double-denim ensemble. "Stay soft. It looks beautiful on you," read one of the slides in the carousel of images. "New character unlocked," she captioned the post.

In December 2022, Combs and Ramey made headlines when photos emerged of them kissing as they stepped out to dine at celebrity hot spot Nobu in Malibu. Days earlier, the father-of-seven had announced the birth of his daughter, Love, whose mother is cybersecurity professional and model Dana Tran.

Joy has also continued to share posts on her Instagram account without acknowledging the allegations. On Wednesday, she shared several Instagram Story posts that showed her working out and hiking, as well as dining with her 11-year-old son Sire, whose father is rapper 50 Cent. 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, has publicly mocked Combs in light of the federal investigation.

Federal Raids

Combs has faced several legal battles in recent months, with lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and trafficking. Investigators with the Department of Homeland Security executed search warrants at properties belonging to Combs in Miami and the Holmby Hills suburb of Los Angeles on Monday afternoon.

The raids were reportedly tied to sex-trafficking allegations leveled by different plaintiffs, the Associated Press reported, citing law enforcement sources.

Homeland Security Investigations said in a statement that it had "executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners."

In response to the raids and subsequent media coverage, Combs' attorney, Aaron Dyer, told Newsweek in an email on Tuesday: "There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities.

"This unprecedented ambush—paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence— leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits," Dyer added. "There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name."

In his lawsuit, music producer Jones accused Combs of coercing him to solicit prostitutes and then pressuring him to have sex with them. Jones, alleged in the lawsuit that he was sexually harassed, drugged and threatened by Combs for more than a year. Jones produced several tracks on Combs' The Love Album: Off the Grid and is seeking $30 million in damages.

Diddy Responds to Allegations

Combs' attorney Shawn Holley disputed the allegations, previously, saying: "We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies."

In a separate case in November, Combs' ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, alleged years of sexual abuse. The lawsuit, which accused Combs of forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed, was settled the day after it was filed.

Combs was hit with another lawsuit in December over allegations he trafficked and sexually abused a woman identified as Jane Doe. The suit accuses Combs of "gang rape" and sex trafficking.

Combs has long denied the allegations. He has a post pinned to the top of his account on X, formerly known as Twitter, in response to the accusations that he raped and trafficked several women.

"Enough is Enough," Combs wrote in the statement posted to X in December. "For the last couple weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy.

"Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth."

Combs' ex Cassie, whose real name is Cassandra Ventura, shared a statement through her attorney Douglas Wigdor following news of Monday's raids.

"Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct," read the statement.
