A Dunkin' employee has disgusted internet users by showing an unusual request from a customer, but it's not as rare as you might first think.
Dunkin' employee and TikTok user @adabadayy posted the video on November 22, which has gained over 11 million views at the time of publication.
"Y'all are sick," she captioned the video, showing herself scooping a mound of butter into a customer's coffee.
"When a customer asks for butter in his coffee," she wrote on screen.
Unsurprisingly, the addition of butter in a coffee was met with reactions of shock and disgust, while others rushed to defend the mixture.
"We love Dunkin', but this ain't right" commented the official Red Sox TikTok account.
"Is this even legal?" joked a TikTok user.
"We'll ask them politely but firmly to leave," commented another user.

Despite inducing such extreme reactions, the drink is actually a key part of some people's daily diet, with the mixture being popular in the keto diet. "Bulletproof coffee" is a mix of butter and MCT oil in coffee, used as a breakfast replacement.
Coined by "lifestyle guru" Dave Asprey , the drink's MCT oil contains a medium-length chain of triglyceride fats, which according to Medical News Today, can be broken down quickly by the body, making them reportedly more effective for weight loss than other fats.
The keto, or ketogenic, diet, low in carbohydrates and high in fats, constitutes an attempt to put the body into ketosis—when the body is forced to use fat for energy and produce ketones which are used for fuel. Bulletproof coffee, with its ingredients of fat with zero carbohydrates, fits into the keto diet.
Although the effects of bulletproof coffee are up for grabs, with people like Joe Rogan swearing by it, and others raising alarm bells about the amount of saturated fat in it. The nonprofit American Heart Association recommends around 13 grams of saturated fats per day but just two tablespoons of butter contains 14g.
As pointed out by many users though, bulletproof coffee generally uses high-quality, grass-fed butter. This is perhaps not the butter Dunkin' uses.

In August, a Starbucks barista shared the "grossest" drink he had to make. The barista began with what seemed like a regular fruit-based drink, using mango and dragon fruit juice and lemonade, similar to a Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonade Refresher.
Until the recipe completely changed. A shot of espresso is introduced, poured and shaken into the mixture.
