Laughter At Woman Visiting Home To Find Dad Joining Work Call—With Wine

A daughter visiting her childhood home for the weekend left the internet in stitches after her dad joined an online meeting with wine.

Many of us have been tempted to have a drink during lengthy meetings that make their way into the evening, but have probably stopped ourselves from doing so due to the fear of appearing undignified or being judged by co-workers.

Glenn, who lives in Paris, embraced France's wine-loving culture and went viral after his daughter Jennifer Grekin (@jennifergrekin) posted hilarious footage of her dad enjoying a beverage on his Zoom call.

The funny footage has amassed 1.1M views as viewers congratulated the man for "working smarter, not harder."

Jennifer Grekin, who lives in London, shared on TikTok: "I'm home for the weekend and my dad has now fully set up his office in my childhood bedroom and this is him joining a zoom call with a bottle of red wine."

Newsweek reached out to Jennifer for comment via Instagram. We could not verify the details of the case.

Jennifer uploaded the video of her American dad, who has his own TikTok account and has been called "Seinfeld in Paris" due to his uncanny resemblance to Jerry Seinfeld, the star of the comedy series Seinfeld.

In the footage, the dad walks toward his remote work set up holding a glass of what appears to be wine—he also has a little left in the wine glass beside his laptop.

TikTokers described the dad's behavior as legendary and applauded the bold move.

Mandy said: "Sounds like my kind of zoom meeting."

One commenter said: "Normalise joining work calls with red wine."

Another added: "Living his best life."

One amused parent added: "Don't most parents do this? We now have two home offices and one guest room. Hotels exist for a reason."

The characterful dad has his own TikTok where he documents his funny moments in the capital of France.

Jennifer who has shared content about her brand for a long time posted another video where she asked her followers if they had been in a similar situation, where seemingly random content they have shared has gone viral.

She then asked if she should make her dad move to London.

Glenn, the star of the new viral fame, commented: "I'll happily pack my suitcase."

In 2021, another woman went viral for her actions on a Zoom call.

She accidentally made a work-related rant while filming a video for her close friends— but did not realize her mic was still on, so her co-workers could hear her.
