Labrador Puppy's Hilarious Morning Routine Goes Viral-'Booked and Busy'

A social media video has offered a delightful peek into the daily hustle of a young Labrador, who has been described by his owner as "booked and busy" from the moment he wakes up.

The TikTok post, which has gone viral, pokes fun at the 8-month-old pup's multistep "morning routine," something that has turned out to be both hectic and utterly adorable.

Posted by @the.lab.woody on May 2, the video has already charmed over 115,000 viewers with its candid glimpse into what it means to be a 'scheduled' puppy.

The Labrador's morning routine kicks off at the crack of dawn, as the clock strikes 6 a.m., with a spirited session of chewing on mom and some playful scratching. By 6:15 a.m., the energetic pup makes it clear that sleeping in is not on the agenda, promptly reminding his mom that rest is overrated and that he'd much rather be eating or out playing.

A necessary potty break at 6:30 a.m. transitions smoothly into breakfast at 6:40 a.m., where he's shown munching on his kibble. True to the life of a young dog with a growing bladder, another toilet break follows at 7:15 a.m., showing the all-too-familiar routine shared by puppy owners and trainers everywhere.

By 7:30 a.m., it's time for some obedience training, and the video jolts forward to capture the young Labrador at the local dog park, diligently practicing commands—a testament to the discipline instilled by his owner. The intensive morning culminates in the pup "passing out" in his owner's car at 8:30 a.m., a heartwarming end to the flurry of activity from the morning.

While his morning snooze may look uncharacteristic when taking the rest of his routing into consideration, puppies do nap often. The American Kennel Club (AKC) says that they usually sleep for between 18 and 20 hours per day.

The video has not only attracted plenty of views but also sparked a lively conversation among viewers, especially fellow Labrador owners who find the routine all too relatable.

One user wrote: "Don't worry, my lab is 2 the girl peeing never stops."

"I'm convinced all chocolate labs have the same brain," another user added.

A different user's comment sums up the sentiment perfectly: "All lab moms out here living the same life."

The lighthearted clip pokes fun at the joys and trials of pet parenthood, bringing together a community of Labrador lovers who are keen to celebrate the quirks and charms of their canine companions.
