Prince William and Princess Kate Being 'Iconic Duo' Goes Viral

Footage of Prince William and Princess Kate has been praised online after the couple celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29, marking the day with the release of a previously unseen photograph.

William and Kate have become the subject of increased public attention since the beginning of 2024, mainly because of the princess's ongoing health issues. In January, she stepped out of the public eye to undergo abdominal surgery and announced in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

The princess is undergoing a course of preventive chemotherapy and is not expected to attend any public events until she has had time to recuperate and focus on getting better.

In the absence of new sightings and engagements, fans of the princess have taken to social media to share favorite highlights from Kate's 13-year royal career, from touching interactions with children to public displays of affection with William.

Uploaded to TikTok by user helensmccrory on April 27, one of the latest of these posts has gained over 150,000 views and features a compilation of lighthearted clips in which Kate appears to poke fun at her husband.

"Is William doing it right?" she teased as the prince cut a branch during a visit to a forest school in 2023.

Another clip that year showed the princess giggling as her husband tried to ice cupcakes during a celebration of the National Health Service's 75th anniversary.

Additional footage included the couple dueling with wands during a visit to the Harry Potter sets at the 2013 inauguration of the Warner Bros. Studios experience in London and also Kate's laughing reaction to a joke told by William during his speech at King Charles' coronation concert at Windsor Castle.

Captioned "I love them your honour," the viral video has received over 14,000 likes and numerous comments, many of which have praised the royal couple and their interactions during their marriage.

"Such an iconic duo," wrote one TikTok user. "I think they look very happy together and they clearly enjoy being around each other which is a marked contrast to how Charles and Diana were in public."

"Love you Prince William Forever," posted another.

Another comment read: "I need more of these."
