Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Travis Kelce enjoyed an eventful weekend in Miami during race week and topped it off at the Carbone Beach party, where he mingled with numerous A-listers. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was reportedly in high spirits, despite the absence of his girlfriend Taylor Swift, who is in Europe for the next leg of her Eras Tour.

To conclude the thrilling 3-day Miami Race Week, American Express and Major Food Group pulled out all the stops for the grand finale: the fourth night of the highly-anticipated American Express Presents CARBONE BEACH 2024. Joining Kelce were an array of A-listers, such as Zayn Malik, Ivanka Trump, Victor Cruz, Tyreek Hill, Jordan Clarkson, Nigel Sylvester, and many others. The beautiful supper club in the sand took two weeks to build and was designed and executed by Marissa Brooks of 4WRD Events.

According to an eyewitness, "Travis walked into dinner about 10 minutes after the room got seated and all eyes moved towards him." He was seen socializing with his friends, as "he was in a great mood," the source tells Newsweek.

The event commenced with a lavish cocktail hour, highlighted by the centerpiece of their iconic 2,500-pound ice sculpture. Drinks flowed generously, boasting top-tier brands such as Lobos 1707 Tequila and Belvedere Vodka. Meanwhile, the culinary delights of the evening were masterfully crafted by Chef Mario Carbone, featuring a four-course menu showcasing his renowned specialties, including the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and Lobster Ravioli.

The source also revealed that Travis "ate in the front of the room with no security or ropes near him. He just blended in with the high-profile crowd and mixed and mingled with people he knew in the room like Jordan Clarkson, Victor Cruz, Major Food Group's Jeff Zalaznick."
