Bloodhound Puppy Realizing Where His Food Comes From Delights Viewers

A dog named Timber has left the internet in stitches after his owner shared a video of his antics as a puppy that went viral on social media.

In the video, shared on TikTok earlier in December under the username Emmmmy_sue, the bloodhound can be seen baying at a door as the caption explains: "When the baby figured out where his food came from."

According to his owner, Timber, who is now three and weighs over 100 pounds, "attempts to bark, but struggles to do so," trying to ask her "Where. Is. Dinner?"

Hill's says that the bloodhound is a "gentle, patient, noble, and mild-mannered animal. A great family dog, especially good with children, and known to be exceptionally tolerant of tots who clamber over it.

As a breed, bloodhounds tend to make their own decisions rather than obey their owner's commands.

"This tendency is especially true if the dog has detected an interesting scent; if that happens, it'll be determined to follow the trail as far as it possibly can," says Hill's.

Moreover, bloodhounds are among the most melodious dogs, and "can perform full canine arias that feature expressive baying, howling and whining."

According to the American Kennel Club bloodhounds are very smart, in fact, some can learn to open closed doors and know how to hide objects in their droopy jowls, such as toys and socks. They also know to use their "sad eyes" face to get out of trouble.

They love to give hugs and smell everything around them, and no matter how big they are they will always think they're the right size to sit on top of you. They also love to jump on every piece of furniture you own.
