Mary Trump Mocks Donald Trump 'Embarrassing Himself' on Stage

Mary Trump has mocked her uncle, Donald Trump, and said he "embarrasses himself on stage" after he made a gaffe during his latest speech.

Writing on X, formerly Twitter, the former president's estranged niece shared a video of him praising Viktor Orbán, Hungary's prime minister, and mistakenly calling him "the leader of Turkey."

Trump said during a rally in Derry, New Hampshire, on October 23: "The world is exploding, if you take a look, the whole world is exploding. I was very honored there's a man, Viktor Orbán, did anyone ever hear of him? He is probably one of the strongest leaders anywhere in the world. He is the leader of Turkey."

And sharing a clip of the speech, Mary Trump, a frequent critic of the former president, said: "Man. Woman. Camera. TV. Moron."

In a follow-up tweet, she also encouraged followers to sign up to her newsletter, saying: "Want to help get under Donald's skin tonight while he embarrasses himself on stage? As Donald's financial valuations continue to decline, my newsletter keeps on growing."

"Don't miss an upcoming story about his fragile ego—and how dangerous he still is," she wrote.

It came as Trump traveled to New Hampshire to file for the primary, formally putting his hat in the ring for president.

Afterwards, during the rally, the Republican compared himself to the former president of South Africa and anti-apartheid activist, Nelson Mandela, who died in 2013, over the four criminal indictments and civil trials he is facing.

"I don't mind being Nelson Mandela because I'm doing it for a reason," he said.

"We've got to save our country from these fascists, these lunatics that we're dealing with. They're horrible people and they're destroying our country."

He also criticized President Joe Biden's response to the Hamas attack on Israel and said, if reelected as president, he would build an Iron Dome-style missile defense shield over the U.S.

"Americans deserve an Iron Dome, and that's what we're going to have," he said.

Newsweek has contacted Donald Trump's office for comment via email.

Meanwhile, Mary Trump's teasing follows her mocking the former president last month after his trial judge in the New York fraud case threatened him with jail time for breaking a limited gag order imposed towards the beginning of the civil trial over social media posts.

At the time, his niece said: I'm furious that Donald is allowed to keep breaking rule after rule... Let's get this mother f***** incarcerated already. I have a plan."

She later outlined that plan in an episode of her podcast.
