Hospital Worker Notices Mysterious Photos Appearing During Nightshift

While another April Fools' Day has come and gone with it's tricks and not-so-funny jokes, one prank that started before the trickster's day in a hospital is still holding out with no end in sight and viewers are obsessed.

A hospital worker on nightshift, who is known on TikTok as @kaag13, recently noticed an added piece of art to the hallway photos that isn't normally there. Someone decided to turn the artwork into a fun little game for those passing by. The text on the video reads: "Someone taped cut outs of their cat to all these pictures at my work."

The person who came up with this idea printed out pictures of their own cat and masterfully hid them within the hallway artwork. The tiny cat pictures are barely noticeable. It takes a keen eye to spot the cat amongst the landscapes.

Thankfully, in the March 24 TikTok video, the creator zooms up to where the cat is hiding in each photo, showcasing the brilliance behind the person's prank. Each one has the cat perfectly placed to a point where it almost looks natural: climbing, hiding, and lounging.

The TikTok creator who shared the mastermind's hilarious prank said in a comment that she is unsure how long it has been there, but now that she noticed it, she constantly points it out to her patients she walks through the hallway.

She admitted that someone else showed her the hidden photos about two weeks ago. Otherwise, she believes she would have never noticed.

Newsweek reached out to her via TikTok for additional information.

How Viewers Reacted

The TikTok clip reached viral status as of Tuesday, bringing in over 1.5 million views, 211,900 likes, and 2,016 comments. The video was an instant moodbooster for all who watched, as it likely is for those who see it in person.

"Top tier art right there! Perfect" a comment reads.

Someone else said: "I like it, Picasso."

"This has NIGHT SHIFT written all over it. Little chaos goblins," commented one viewer. The creator did confirm it was indeed part of the nightshift shenanigans.

Another suggested: "I hope everyone starts to add their own pets to all of the artwork." It's the simple things in life that bring people joy.
