Jason Kelce Reveals How Taylor Swift Introduced Him to Ice Spice

Jason Kelce sat in a star-studded luxury box with Taylor Swift and a number of other celebrities to watch his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The suite included rapper Ice Spice, who has been friends with Swift since July. Jason's introduction to Ice Spice prior to the game went viral, and on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast on Wednesday, Kelce shared more details about sitting with all the stars.

"Got to meet Ice Spice, which I was introduced to her as 'Ice,'" Jason said.

Travis said Swift and Ice Spice hung out at the Grammy's recently, and the rapper told Swift she would be attending the Super Bowl.

"We had to get her in a suite," Travis said.

Jason also had a surprise encounter with music royalty.

"Had the chance to meet Sir Paul McCartney," Jason said. "Watching the game, I'm standing with [actor] Miles Teller—shout out to Miles, we were partying all night—but Miles is a big Eagles fan.

"We're watching the game, talking ball, he's a big football fan, and all of a sudden, I hear Taylor behind me, 'Jason turn around.' I look around, and Paul McCartney is standing right there. I'm like, 'What the heck is this? There's royalty in the office? Oh my gosh.'"

Travis wondered aloud whether McCartney had actually been knighted.

"He's for sure knighted," Jason said. "That's why he's Sir Paul McCartney. That guy is a living piece of royalty."

Jason also gave his up-close view of Swift's viral moment when she chugged a beer, which Travis (for obvious reasons) didn't see in the moment.

"I'm not going to lie, I didn't know what was going on at first," Jason said. "I was sitting behind them, and I saw them going for the drinks, and then I was like, 'Oh, this is happening. Chug! Chug! She was getting after it."

Travis was impressed by Swift's technique.

"This was on the Jumbotron? Nice," Travis said. "Oh and then the slam down. She's done this before. She's a pro."

Jason—whose voice was hoarse throughout the episode—said he was glad to be done with his week in Las Vegas.

"A lot of out-of-the-house," Jason said. "I'm so happy to be back in the house, and I'm going to stay in the house for a little bit here."

Still, he praised the city as a great location for the Super Bowl.

"Vegas did not disappoint," he said. "Very electric."
