Joe Rogan Mocked for Botching Joe Biden Takedown

Joe Rogan is being mocked after a rant against President Joe Biden quickly fell flat when the popular podcast host mixed up an old quote that is actually attributed to Donald Trump.

During an interview with MMA fighter Bo Nickal, the pair discussed Biden's apparent cognitive decline and how the president can still garner support in the 2024 election despite his various mental lapses and misstatements.

One quote came up regarding Biden talking about the Revolutionary War, which Rogan and Nickal didn't know or realize that Biden was referencing past statements made by Trump.

"There's people that voted for [Joe] Biden that are doing it now, they're like, 'What did I do? What did I choose?'" Rogan said.

"You just can't listen to an interview where he's saying some of the stuff he says, that just makes no sense at all," Nickal said. "You can't listen to those interviews and feel like you've made a good decision."

Rogan then brought up Biden's remarks on the Revolutionary War and airports, asking others in the room if they were familiar with the remarks.

"Pull him," Rogan said. "If you had any other job, and you were talking like that, they would go, 'Hey, you're done.'"

But Rogan's producer, Jamie Vernon, chimed in and said "for the record" that Biden was mocking Trump—who originally affiliated the Revolutionary War and airports.

Rogan and Nickal then watched the 2019 Independence Day address in which Trump, the GOP front-runner for 2024 presidential nomination, claimed that the Continental Army "took over the airports" during the war that lasted between 1775 and 1783.

"Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rockets' red glare, it had nothing but victory," Trump said in the summer of 2019.

Trump, who was mocked following the speech, later blamed his statement on rain that damaged the teleprompter.

"Oh, OK," Rogan said after viewing the Trump speech. "So, [Trump] f***** up."

"You can tell, too, he sounds a little different," Nickal said, seemingly defending Trump. "You can tell he messed up his words. I don't know. That's the thing about media these days, you've got to look into it."

The X account Republicans for Trump was one of several online accounts to post the video clip.

"Joe Rogan mocks President Biden ('You're done.') for saying 'We didn't have enough airports' during the Revolutionary War, then realizes Trump is the one who said it," the account posted. "Biden just quoted Trump to mock him. Oops."

Podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen wrote: "Oh my God. Joe Rogan tried to say Biden is unqualified by claiming he said something that TRUMP said. He got fact checked in real time. This is amazing."

"I will never understand why anyone trusts Joe Rogan," said another user. "He tells his viewers not to trust the media, when he's the one they shouldn't trust.
