Who Is Lindsie Chrisley? Todd Chrisley Claims Daughter Had Affairs with 2 Popular 'Bachelorette' Contestants

The Chrisley family drama intensified after patriarch Todd Chrisley accused his oldest daughter of having an affair with two former contestants on ABC's The Bachelorette.

Some people might not be familiar with Lindsie since she doesn't appear on the family reality show, but her name has started to pop up since her father was indicted on tax fraud this week.

Lindsie Chrisley married William Campbell in 2012. The couple shares a 6-year-old son named Jackson. They separated four years later, telling People magazine at the time that she had "outgrown the relationship." The pair were reportedly on the verge of divorce in 2018, but have managed to reconcile. She withdrew divorce papers last year.

Now, her father claimed the 29-year-old hooked up with Bachelorette Season 12 contestant Robby Hayes, who also appeared on Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise; and Josh Murray, who proposed to Andi Dorfman on Season 10 of The Bachelorette. Murray also appeared on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Hayes did not issue a public response.

Murray, however, released a statement saying he and Lindsie Christley "have been friends for years."

"I know Todd and his family are going through some tough times right now and I pray everything works out in their favor," the Friday statement read. "They should probably focus on how not to be imprisoned for 30 years rather than spreading gossip to try and hurt their daughter. I truly believe they are good people and I wish them the best in however they choose to go about their actions."

Todd Chrisley shared the allegations in a statement to E! News just hours after Lindsie Chrisley reportedly filed a police report against her father and younger brother Chase Chrisley on Thursday, claiming the pair were attempting to release a sex tape involving her.

Denying Lindsie Chrisley's claims, Todd Chrisley said it was "heartbreaking and shameful that these kinds of accusations have been aired in public."

"We have tried to keep Lindsie's extramarital relationships with Robby Hayes and Josh Murray [during her marriage to Will Campbell] private for her sake since August 2016," the statement read. "Sadly, for reasons we can only guess at, she ran to the sheriff's office to accuse her brother of buying a sex tape of her and Robby, which is a complete lie, and now she's telling more lies about me."

Despite the tension the TV family is currently facing, Todd Chrisley noted that he and the rest of her would "always love" his firstborn.

Lindsie Christley is Todd Christley's daughter with his first wife, Teresa Terry, with whom he also shares 27-year-old Kyle Chrisley. He shares his two other children Chase Chrisley, 23, and Savannah Chrisley, 22, with current wife Julie Chrisley.

Lindsie Chrisley was a member of the Chrisley Knows Best cast from 2014 to 2017. She left the series after a falling out with her father and went on to launch a successful podcast, Coffee Convos, alongside Teen Mom star Kaitlyn Lowry. Lindsie Chrisley had reportedly been in talks to return to the USA reality series for Season 6, however, that didn't pan out.

The allegations against Lindsie Chrisley came after Todd and Julie Chrisley were indicted on charges of tax evasion and other financial crimes on Tuesday. A day before they turned themselves over to authorities, Todd Chrisley released a statement on Instagram claiming their innocence and alleged they had been set up by an ex-employee who turned false documents with their forged signatures over to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

However, Lindsie Christley was first suspected of giving information regarding her father's financial dealings over the to the federal government in early August.

Shortly after the Nashville couple entered not guilty pleas in front of a judge on Wednesday, her brother Kyle Chrisley came forward with claims that Lindsie Chrisley and their mother turned put Todd and Julie Chrisley's tax evasion on the Georgia Department of Revenue's radar nearly a year ago.

Lindsie Chrisley's attorney Musa Ghanayem said the allegations were untrue.

"Lindsie has been a constant target of lies, harassment and threats from her family and as a result, has been distancing herself from the Chrisley family since 2017," the statement, released Wednesday, read. "Lindsie is currently processing the events that have unfolded. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and pray for a just resolution."
