Mia Khalifa Calls Out White House Staffer

Mia Khalifa has slammed White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby over his remarks on the seven aid workers killed in Gaza on Wednesday.

An airstrike fired by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) hit an aid convoy, killing workers from the NGO World Central Kitchen (WCK). Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the attack was a mistake and promised a full investigation. However, the incident has increased pressure from the U.S. and other allied nations to ease the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Newsweek has reached out to Mia Khalifa for comment via Instagram and John Kirby via email.

Kirby was quizzed by reporters regarding the attack during a White House press briefing on Wednesday, with Khalifa sharing a snippet of the event to X, formerly Twitter.

"You describe the strike as a possible mistake, by Israel; according to Haaretz, the Israeli newspaper, it wasn't one strike, but a three," a journalist tells Kirby in the clip. "How would the second and third strikes, of these marked vehicles, be a mistake? And why would the U.S. not forcefully set conditions on the use of U.S.-made weaponry when it is being used to target aid workers?"

In response, Kirby urged reporters to allow Israel to conduct its investigation. "Why don't we see what they find in terms of the decision-making process that led to this terrible outcome?" he said.

"The prime minister and the IDF have noted that it was their error—you don't like the word 'mistake,' their error. They're investigating it, let them do that work and let them see what they come up with."

Khalifa blasted Kirby's reply, with her post receiving more than 176,000 views. "John Kirby's cheap ass box hair dye is seeping through his pores and eroding the few brain cells he has left," the 31-year-old wrote alongside the video.

The Palestinian militant group Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, killing 1,200 people and taking another 240 as hostages. Israel declared war on Hamas, cutting off supplies of food, fuel, energy and medicine to the neighboring Gaza Strip, where Hamas is based.

A ground offensive was later launched into the territory. The Associated Press says at least 32,900 people have been killed in Gaza since the war began. The U.N. said 196 humanitarian workers have been killed, with the White House pledging to do more to ensure the safety of aid groups.

Khalifa has long been a vocal critic of Israel. The Lebanese-American former adult film star came under fire in October after calling Hamas "freedom fighters" on social media. The comments led Playboy to terminate its podcasting deal with Khalifa, while magic-mushroom distributor Red Light Holland ended its partnership with her.

In January, footage of Khalifa arguing with a Jewish woman who confronted her in a hotel lobby went viral.

In March, Khalifa ridiculed the Israeli prime minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu, after she wrote a public letter pleading with Hamas to release the remaining hostages. The actress mocked Sara Netanyahu's signature on X, asking if the 65-year-old is "literate."
