Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: All Legendary Pokémon

Legendary Pokémon have always been a treat in past Pokémon games, and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet looks to offer similarly great Legendary Pokémon for players to collect and use. As usual, the main Legendary Pokémon in the newest games come with some very special forms, which should make traversing the Paldea region much easier for players.

For the moment, only two Legendary Pokémon are known about so far when it comes to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. However, it's very likely that more Legendary Pokémon will make an appearance throughout your adventures in the Paldea region. Of course, there's more than just Legendary Pokémon to look forward to in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, as Pokedex leaks have already shown that there will be over 200 Pokémon for players to catch.

For now, though, here is what the community knows about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Legendary Pokémon.

Miraidon

This Legendary Pokémon is exclusive to Pokémon Violet and will act as a companion and a mount for players as they explore the Paldea region. Not much is known about this Pokémon's type, category, or abilities in battle. However, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have revealed that Miraidon will be able to transform into several different forms to assist players in traversing the Paldea region.

These forms include a drive mode, where Miraidon resembles a motorcycle, an aquatic mode that lets you traverse watery areas, and a glide mode useful for flying around the world and reaching high places. It's also possible that there will be other Legendary Pokémon able to use different forms, like Pokémon Legends: Arceus offered.

Koraidon

As the Legendary "box" Pokémon for Pokémon Scarlet, players can expect Koraidon to act as a mount just like Miraidon. Of course, there are some differences between the two Pokémon, but it will also offer a sprinting/motorcycle mode, a swimming build, and a gliding build. These traversal forms will help players explore Paldea in new ways, which will come in handy through Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's various story modes.

The new Legendary Pokémon will also go along great with the different starter Pokémon that players get to choose from in the latest games. And, because Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have some other differences, players will want to take these Legendary Pokémon into account when deciding which version of the game to buy.

Additionally, Legendary Pokémon will be added to this article as they're uncovered after the game's release on November 18, 2022.
