How to Get Bronzor Fragments in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

There are 400 Pokemon in the Paldea Pokedex, giving players plenty of iconic Pokemon to catch in the latest games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. But, if you plan to evolve all of these Pokemon, you're going to need to jump through a few hoops. One such Pokemon evolution is Armarouge, a new Pokemon that evolves from Charcadet, but only in Pokemon Scarlet.

In order to pull off this special evolution, players will need to gather 10 Bronzor Fragments and then trade them for a piece of Malicious Armor in Zapapico. Once done, you can evolve Charcadet into Armarouge, unlocking yet another new Pokemon for players to use in Pokemon Scarlet. If you're struggling to find Bronzor Fragments, then this guide will help show you not only where to collect these important fragments but also one of the best spots to farm them up rather quickly—in case you need to trade an Armarouge to your friends.

How to Get Bronzor Fragments

Bronzor is a small shield-looking Pokemon originally introduced in Generation IV, Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. Despite its age, Bronzor is still a very highly sought-after Pokemon for at least one person in Paldea.

To find the 10 Bronzor Fragments you need, you're going to need to battle 10 Bronzors. If you're playing through Pokemon Violet, then you'll need to collect Sinistea Chips, which will allow you to unlock the Pokemon Cereluge.

The best places to find Bronzor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is to look around ruins that can be found throughout Paldea. One of the best places to find these ruins, actually, is just outside of Cortondo, one of the first towns you'll come across when you head out of the central city.

Cortondo is home to the Bug Gym, which is perfect for people who chose the Fire-type starter Pokemon, Fuecoco. From the Poke Center near Cortondo, head up to the cliff side closest to the center of the map. Here you'll find some ruins absolutely filled with Bronzor and other Pokemon. If you don't see any Bronzor on your approach, then you'll want to fly back to the Poke Center and run back up there.

Either way, once you've spotted the Bronzor, go ahead and defeat 10 of them to gather 10 Bronzor Fragments. Once you have all the fragments, return to Zapapico, turn them in, and then you'll be given the Malicious Armor.

Now that you know how to find Bronzor Fragments, you can also learn more about breeding Pokemon if you want to get a Charcadet with better stats. Additionally, you'll be able to use Charcadet while exploring Area Zero, which is home to Paradox Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
