How to Get the Dusk Stone in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The Dust Stone is just one of several Evolution Stones found in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. If players want to evolve Pokémon like Murkrow and Misdreavus, the Dusk Stone can be found randomly throughout the world of Paldea. However, if you want to get your hands on one quickly, there is a guaranteed place you can go to pick one up.

Evolution Stones are essential items that you give to certain Pokémon in order to trigger evolutions. Many Pokémon within the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet require Evolution Stones to complete their evolutions, including Eevee.

How to Get a Dusk Stone

If you're looking to get your hands on a Dusk Stone quickly, you'll want to make your way to the city of Montenevera. This city is one of the many that you'll visit along your journey to complete the Victory Road storyline, so you'll want to travel here eventually anyway to unlock fast travel points and challenge the gym leader.

To find the Dusk Stone, you're going to want to make your way behind the Pokémon Gym and look out for a red Pokéball laying on the ground. Pokéballs like this can be found all around the game and include a ton of useful items from Evolution Stones to ingredients needed to complete sandwich recipes.

There are, of course, other places you can find the Dusk Stone. For instance, you can also purchase it from the Porto Miranda Auctions. However, this requires traveling to the Cascarrafa Gym and completing the gym challenge there.

You'll also need to have quite a bit of money if you want to buy the one at the auction, so make sure you've learned how to get the Amulet Coin, which increases the amount of money you earn from beating Pokémon trainers.

Now that you have the Dusk Stone, you can use this item to evolve Murkrow to Honchkrow, or, if you're a fan of the witch-like Pokémon Mismagius, then you can give the Dusk Stone to Misdreavus and evolve it to its final evolution.

If you're looking for more help with the various items found throughout Paldea, you may also want to make sure you know how to get the Shiny Charm, which increases the chance of seeing shiny Pokémon out in the wild. The Shell Bell can also be a very useful item, which many Pokémon trainers will want to get their hands on as early as possible to make the most of it.
