Prince Louis Being Uncontrollable Goes Viral

Prince Louis has won British hearts with his adorable behavior on the Buckingham Palace balcony, according to a documentary that noted "even Charlotte" cannot control him.

Royal experts described how Britain fell in love with the five-year-old royal through his playful antics on the Buckingham Palace balcony, during TV show The Fab Five: The King's Grandchildren, broadcast on Channel 5, in the U.K., in May.

"Even Charlotte can't completely control her younger brother," the narrator announced during a clip that has gone viral on TikTok, being viewed 677,000 times and liked 32,000 times.

Emily Andrews, former royal correspondent for The Sun and Mail on Sunday, said: "I love Prince Louis. He is cheeky chappy who just lights up any royal occasion.

"His facial expressions have become kind of memes on social media. He's been an absolute hit of the internet."

Among the cheeky displays featured were an iconic image of Louis standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with his hands over his ears screaming as R.A.F. planes fly over head at Trooping the Color, during Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

And at the Platinum Pageant on June 5, 2022, he put his hand over his mother Kate Middleton's mouth as she tried to speak to him, earning him a stint being looked after by King Charles III.

Ingrid Seward, author of Prince Philip Revealed, said: "Everybody remembers the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. He looked a real handful. And in the end Kate sent him to go and sit on grandpa's knee."

Ayesha Hazarika, a U.K. political commentator, said: "I thought it was actually quite a nice glimpse into the fact that they clearly have got a very close relationship."

After the jubilee, Prince William and Kate used their official account on Twitter, now called X, to post: "What a fantastic weekend of celebrations. Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special.

"Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to the Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember.

"We all had an incredible time, especially Louis ..."

Elsewhere on the documentary, Andrews spoke about Charlotte's role bringing her brother into line: "Whether it is to the older brother or the little brother, sisters are often bossy and Charlotte is no exception."

Seward added: "Charlotte has got an absolutely terrific personality. She's brave, she's quite forceful, she certainly lords it up over her older brother.

"I think she puts me very much in mind of how Princess Anne was as a little girl. Charles was very shy and reticent, Anne didn't put up with any nonsense from anyone. I just feel Charlotte has those attributes."
