'Sister Wives' Fans Concerned as Robyn Appears to Kick Dog in Old Clip

Sister Wives fans are up in arms over a resurfaced clip of Robyn Brown seemingly kicking a dog in an old episode.

The TLC show, which stars Robyn, her husband Kody, and his other, spiritual wives Janelle and Meri is currently in the midst of its 17th season, but it is an old clip from the show's second season, which aired in 2011, that has fans talking.

The footage in question has been shared on TikTok by user cajunqutee and shows Robyn walking across a driveway and putting her foot on one of the family dogs.

Robyn has three children from her first marriage and shares two more children with Kody. In the footage, she can be seen holding the hands of children, though it's unclear which kids.

On Reddit, users pointed out that in the episode from which the clip is taken, Robyn spoke openly about her fear of dogs.

Some other fans also questioned if Robyn actually kicked the dog, with an anonymous user writing: "It's literally a second in the background. It didn't look like she kicked the dog to me."

While PureSubstance9263 posted: "I thought the same thing. She nudged the dog away with her foot. Definitely didn't look like a kick. People seem to overact because it's Robyn."

Newsweek has contacted a representative for Robyn and Sister Wives for comment.

This isn't the first time Robyn has upset Sister Wives fans, as she also came under fire from viewers earlier in the season when Christine, who was previously spiritually married to Kody, revealed that she was leaving him.

Christine, 50, announced her split from Kody in November 2021 and has since left the family, who live in Flagstaff, Arizona, to move to Utah.

Robyn was shown having a negative outlook on the situation and told the cameras that after telling her own children that Christine was leaving, they were "so confused, and so sad."

Robyn's comments left some fans unimpressed as they struggled to understand why she was so disapproving of Kody and Christine's split.

Some even labeled her a "hypocrite," pointing out that she herself left an unhappy marriage when she split from first husband David Jessop.

Sister Wives continues on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
