Is Starbucks Open Christmas Eve? Opening Hours, What Time Stores Close

As Americans continue their countdown to the Christmas holidays, some may be curious what Starbucks coffee locations will be open for a quick drink and/or snack.

Christmas Eve 2023, celebrated on December 24, is on a Sunday this year, meaning that many stores, offices and other services will be closed. Christmas Eve is not a federal holiday but is widely celebrated across the nation.

Newsweek previously compiled a list detailing which stores will be open on Christmas Eve, such as Walmart, CVS, Target and Walgreens. While some may need to do some last-minute shopping on Christmas Eve, others may be interested in knowing what food and coffee locations will be open on the holiday.

On their website, Starbucks says that store hours for the Christmas holidays will vary by store location. Newsweek reached out to Starbucks via email for further information.

"Stores may occasionally adjust their hours based on business and customer needs," Starbucks says.

Customers are encouraged to use the Starbucks app or the Starbucks store locater on their website to check for their local location's opening and closing hours for Christmas Eve. "The Starbucks app continues to be the best way for customers to find a store, check store hours, and order ahead and pay."
