Woman Can't Cope With Clothing Item Partner Deems 'Hottest Thing' in Closet

If there's one thing that makes men go crazy, it's...a button-up cardigan?

So says one woman on TikTok, @oldmanjenkkins, whose video went viral for revealing that her husband's favorite item of her clothing is a beige button-up cardigan from Old Navy. She invited viewers in the comments to respond with the article of clothing that makes their significant others "go crazy" for them. Since it was posted, her video has received 6.9 million views and 1 million likes.

"I can't explain this, but my husband genuinely thinks this is the hottest thing in my closet," the creator captioned the video, modeling the loose cardigan for the camera.

"What's one article of clothing that makes your significant other go crazy for you? Like, I'm talking every time you wear this article of clothing, they can't take their hands off you," she said. "For me, it's this cardigan. I wish it was a joke. I'm not going to like, be sad about it, but every time I wear this, my husband is like...'D*** girl.'"

She goes on to say she's not going to question it, but it's a bit bizarre that he loves a top that's buttoned up to the neck.

Viewers in the comments had things to say about her confusion—mostly echoing it, but some understanding her husband's pull.

"A man in a loose pullover sweater makes me feral, so I get him," @gesselie wrote.

"I had this bright yellow minions T-shirt nightdress I literally had to hide because he'd get so fired up over it," @lycheemartiini wrote. "Insane."

"My husband loves my business casual clothes," @haileewc wrote. "Loves to see a good dress pant, loafers and sweater. Like, OK, grandpa."

Some said the video inspired them to ask their partners what their preferred item of clothing is, and were similarly shocked by the response.

"Just asked my spouse, he said 'You're not going to like it.' I said 'What?' It's my old nightgown with Eeyore (as well as multiple holes) on it," @enkeksitunnusta wrote.

The creator's video sparked much pop culture dialogue, with many likening the beige number to Twilight character Bella Swan's floor-length khaki skirt, which her lover Edward fawns over. "Bella's khaki skirt Twilight moment," @letsfightinglove_ wrote.

Justified or not, it seems there's something to be said for conservative beige clothing—could beige be having its moment?

"That's high key a beige flag," @cn.leung wrote. "I love that for you."
