How to Vote for the Splatoon 3 Pokémon Splatfest

Nintendo is hosting an event that marries two of its most popular franchises together: Pokémon and Splatoon 3. It's all part of the upcoming Splatoon 3 Splatfest, which is being held in preparation for the debut of new core Switch-exclusive games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Splatfests are a Splatoon mainstay, and they've been a part of the game ever since the first one debuted. Players choose a side and duke it out across Turf wars to see who can emerge victorious at the end of it all. Splatoon 3 has introduced the Tri-Color Turf War, which has changed the way these Splatfests are fought considerably, and the Pokémon Splatfest collaboration will feature this unique mechanic.

Now, this Splatfest will find Deep Cut, the popular in-game idol group, representing three different Pokémon types that players can battle on behalf of. That includes Shiver with Team Grass, Frye for Team Fire, and Big Man for Team Water.

To participate, you need to choose a team and register so you can get your free event T-shirt and start staking claims for your team for when the Splatfest officially begins.

But how do you vote for which team you want to represent in the Splatfest? Don't worry, we've got you covered there.

How to Vote for the Splatoon 3 x Pokémon Splatfest

If you know which side you want to vote for in the upcoming Pokémon-themed Splatfest, all you need to do is jump into Splatoon and head to the center of Splatsville Square.

You'll see the game has been updated to reflect the newest Splatfest theme, so it'll look like a miniature festival once you get loaded in. Look for the small yellow tent with T-shirts hanging from the front.

Head there to register your side between Team Grass, Team Fire, and Team Water. You'll be given a special T-shirt to wear that you'll only be able to wear during this Splatfest event, so get the most out of it (and its special attributes). Once you've finished all this, all you need to do is go play Splatoon 3 multiplayer matches as usual and level up so you're ready to go when the actual event begins.

The Splatfest itself will run from Friday, November 11 at 4 PM PT through Sunday, November 13 at 4 PM PT. Choose your side and be ready to give it your all so your favorite Pokémon type prevails!

Splatoon 3 is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
