Joe Biden, Donald Trump Message Goes Viral

A post poking fun at the rivalry between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump compared them to comic book characters.

The viral post on X, formerly Twitter, was a retweet of a news article quoting Biden as saying he would likely not have run for president again had Trump not been going up for the presidency in 2024.

"They're like Batman and the Joker," wrote X user KiraWon'tMiss, in a post that's been viewed 4 million times.

On Tuesday, Biden said: "If Trump wasn't running, I'm not sure I'd be running." Trump seems the most likely nominee for the Republican Party, according to polls.

"We cannot let him win for the sake of our country," Biden said of Trump at a campaign fundraiser in Massachusetts.

People on X rushed to comment on KiraWon'tMiss' viral tweet comparing the politicians to the Caped Crusader and his ultimate nemesis, the Joker.

"What is this childish game they're playing," replied one person.

Another added: "Only problem is figuring which one is Batman and Joker."

And a third wrote: "Never seen a better suiting description."

Both candidates have had their age and health called out ahead of the 2024 elections, with 81-year-old Biden even joking at a different fundraiser on Tuesday that "it's hell turning 40 twice."

Some polls have shown voters are concerned about Biden's age, but others have also called out Trump's advanced years and his fitness for office, including The Lincoln Project. Formed by anti-Trump Republicans, the political action group this week released an ad called "Feeble," bringing into question Trump's health and fitness.

"Face it Donald, you're just projecting when you call Joe Biden old," the ad, which aired on social media and local Fox News channels said. "He's stronger than you, fitter than you, smarter than you, a better man and a better president ... anyone can see it."

Trump quickly slammed the ads and claimed The Lincoln Project had artificial intelligence (AI) to created fake footage of him in order to cast him in an unfavorable light. However, the group retorted they put together real footage of him making embarrassing gaffes at public events to create the ad.

"The perverts and losers at the failed and once disbanded Lincoln Project, and others, are using A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) in their Fake television commercials in order to make me look as bad and pathetic as Crooked Joe Biden, not an easy thing to do," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. "Fox News shouldn't run these ads, just as low ratings CNN & MSDNC will not, under any circumstances, run negative ads on Biden or the Democrats."
