How to Get the Shell Bell in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

There are many useful items in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, each of which can bestow some handy effects to your Pokemon, especially when being held. One of the most useful items for Pokemon trainers that battle a lot is the Shell Bell.

This item restores a small amount of health to the Pokemon holding it based on the amount of damage that they have done to the opposing team.

It's a really handy item, especially if you're dealing with stronger opponents and you want to pad your health pool a little bit. But how exactly do you get your hands on the Shell Bell? Here's what you need to know.

How to Get the Shell Bell in 'Pokemon Scarlet and Violet'

There are two main ways to get your hands on the Shell Bell in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and one of those ways is going to cost you roughly 20,000 Poke Dollars.

If you don't want to spend money, though, you can always earn the Shell Bell by completing six Pokemon battles and defeating six Pokemon trainers within the South Province Area Three.

If you defeat six Pokemon trainers here and then approach the Pokemon League Representative at the Pokemon Center in the area, you'll be rewarded with the Shell Bell.

If you already have that Shell Bell, or if you just want to purchase more, you can also head to the Delibird Presents shop in Levincia. This item can only be purchased from the shop in Levincia, though, so don't try finding it in the Delibird Presents located in other cities around Paldea.

Purchasing the Shell Bell will cost you 20,000 Poke Dollars, so it isn't the easiest purchase to make early in the game when money is tight. However, once you have one, you can always use the item duplication glitch, which will allow you to clone the item as many times as you want, so you can hand it off to whatever Pokemon you want.

You can also grab the Amulet Coin and equip it to earn more money from trainer battles to make grinding much easier.

Outside of the Shell Bell, players can also collect tons of other useful items like the Ability Patch. This item lets you unlock a Pokemon's hidden ability, which can make some Pokemon even stronger than before.

Another useful item is the Master Ball, which can be used to catch any Pokemon on the first try. This item is extremely limited, though, so cloning it is wise for trainers who want to maximize catches on hard-to-catch Pokemon.
